This is a map-theme from the Workshop I personally like a lot: īut beware! Because these texture files need to cover a lot of area (otherwise you'll see a repetitive pattern across the map), they're quite big in filesize! The map-theme I linked above is 162MG big. ![]() It also allows you to use textures from different map-themes into one so you can basically make your own map-theme. This way you can clearly see the differences as you switch map-themes while actually looking at the map. Using the 'Theme Mixer 2' mod, you can change map-themes while you're in-game. Just note, you can choose which zoning type you want on each theme, but I have different themes for different types of zoning, commercial, industrial, office. If you also change some of the simple looking trees for some good looking ones from the Workshop, your map looks a whole lot different! So using map-themes from the Workshop can significantly improve the way your city/map looks. As far as I can tell the tiling value seems to be correct, but you can always play with the slider if you want to tweak it. The Vanilla map-themes are quite cartoonish. Just open Theme Mixer, manually re-select that specific texture from SCT-HOMECOMING (do not change the base cliff texture), then save yourself a new theme mix.
